8. Sean McGrath-TE-Kansas City Chiefs

McGrath was a complete fantasy non-factor coming into this season, but injury has depleted the Kansas City tight end corps leaving McGrath as the last man standing for Alex Smith at that position. McGrath hauled in four catches for his second game in a row with 50+ yards against the Titans this week.

He’s had at least four catches in his last three games as Smith and the Chiefs offense continues to grow from week-to-week. McGrath is growing more and more into a integral part of the passing game and is a low-end TE1 option in most matchups.

This week, his matchup is with Raiders who are in the middle of the pack against opposing tight ends but did allow Antonio Gates to have a nice game last Sunday Night. McGrath is fine for a plug-and-play option for this week. I don’t see McGrath going for 100 yards, but I don’t think he takes a bagel either. He’s consistently solid even if he’s not spectacular.
