Will Allen released by Cowboys; at Steelers facility next day
By John Adair
Just a day ago, Will Allen was marked a failed experiment by the Dallas Cowboys and released. Today, Allen was back at a familiar place, the Pittsburgh Steelers facility according to Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Dallas brought Allen in as a free agent this off-season, and simply put, it did not work out. Regardless, it seems as though there is still interest in the free agent veteran safety. There is no identification whether this meeting was an official work out, a quick signing, or neither of the two. Allen did spend time with the Steelers in his prime, and now with the team at 0-4, changes are imminent.
