Tampa Bay Buccaneers dealing with another MRSA infection

It looks like there could be another MRSA infection involving a Tampa Bay Buccaneers player. Place kicker Lawrence Tynes got an MRSA infection and so did guard Carl Nicks. Tynes was put on the non-football injury list and he filed a grievance against the team over that designation


Aside from a third player being diagnosed, guard Carl Nicks had a recurrence as well.

ā€œSame place, same location,ā€ said general manager Mark Dominik via the Tampa Bay Times.Ā ā€œFrom everything we’ve been told and understand, this does happen, which is why MRSA is hard to treat.ā€
