Well Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson said he was faster than Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Darrelle Revis and that he wasn’t worried about being covered by him.
“I don’t think he can run with me,” Jackson said. “I don’t think he’s as fast as me.”
I’m not fast; I’ve never been fast,” said Revis with a laugh in his response. “I’m not fast; [Jackson]’s fast. Fast people are allowed to say those types of things. I’ve covered him before in the past and it was a good battle. We’ll see what happens this time around. I’m not here to discuss who’s the fastest. I’m not running for the Olympics and he’s not either. I’m just here to compete and play.”
He seems to be winning that debate right now with a first half touchdown. It was a 12 yard touchdown pass from Nick Foles, not necessarily a deep speed play.
