Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy is off to a hot start today against the Baltimore Ravens. He opened the game with a 10 yard run. The Packers called his number again and went right back to him and Lacy broke off a 37-yard run.
This run is credited to the Packers offensive line. They had a wide open hold ready and waiting for Lacy. I donāt think he even gets touched until the cornerback chases him down along the side line.
The Ravens have a pretty quality run defense as well. Theyāre ranked 6th in the league by ESPN with 89.8 yards per game. Stopping the Packers run offense was going to be a challenge was well. The Packers have the leagueās 4th best ground game averaging 141 yards.
The Packers didnāt go back to Lacy for the rest of the drive, sticking with the no huddle. It ended with the Packers getting in field goal range and being stopped. So they settled for three points from Mason Crosby.
