Wondering who gets to see what games? The fine folks at 506 Sports put a map of the United States up every week,  color coordinated to show you what parts of the countries are getting what games.

The CBS map is just crazy to follow, primarily cause it is a lot of colors all over the place, but it makes sense for the most part. It looks like the majority of the country is getting the Pittsburgh Steelers vs the New York Jets game in the first hour. An odd choice. The west coast, mid west and Dallas will get the Oakland Raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs game, that makes sense. Some parts of Ohio, Kentucky, Cincinnati and western New York will get the Bengals vs Buffalo Bills game.

Florida and the the Rockies get the Jacksonville and Denver game in the late slot. Little pockets throughout the country get the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks game.

FOX’s early coverage map makes sense. The Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens are the national game. Houston and St. Louis areas get their game. Almost all of Texas gets the Houston game, except for Dallas and north Texas. They get the Packers/Ravens game as well.

In the map of FOX’s late coverage you see that the New Orleans Saints vs New England Patriots map gets the bulk of the country. It clearly is the marquee match up of the week.
