Rams LB James Laurinaitis almost does Cam Newton’s Superman celebration (GIF)

St. Louis Rams linebacker James Laurinaitis sacked quarterback Cam Newton and went to celebrate. What do you do when celebrating in Carolina? Maybe Newton’s signature Superman celebration.
He struck the pose, brought his hands to the chest like he was about to rip the shirt open and reveal the Superman ‘S.’ Before he finished off the celebration though he stopped short and when all Dikembe Mutumbo with the finger wag instead. It was a 13-yard sack, definitely something worth celebrating.
The Rams defense has a lot to celebrate. They got a safety after tackling Mike Tolbert in the end zone. The only Panthers touchdown came on an interception returned for a touchdown by Panthers defensive back Captain Munnerlyn.
If it weren’t for that pick-six they would’ve been leading at the end of the first quarter 2-0. Currently they’re trailing the Panthers with a score of 10-5 late in the second half. This should be an interesting second half.
Cam Newton is 4/4 passing this game so far for 49 yards.
