In the fourth quarter of the Indianapolis Colts big win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football, veteran wide receiver Reggie Wayne went down with a non-contact knee injury after he awkwardly had to adjust to a pass from Andrew Luck that was well behind him.
Wayne was very emotional after the injury and it appeared that it could be serious, and on Monday morning we are hearing that the Colts are fearing a torn ACL.
From Adam Schefter of ESPN:
Colts fear WR Reggie Wayne tore his ACL, as @mortreport reported. Will be an MRI to confirm if true.

After the game, Andrew Luck took the blame for the injury by saying that it was his fault for making such a terrible throw. He looked really upset with his pass, but injuries like this are freak accidents that just happen.
It’s unfortunate for the Colts, but their team is more than capable of finding a man that can step up and fill the void at wide receiver.
