Today, a round of UEFA Europa League action wrapped up. There wasn’t a whole lot of surprise results on the day. What was interesting was SV Salzburg’s game against Standard Liege. There were three red cards in the game, Salzburg’s Sadio Mane in the 42nd minute and Liege’s Mehdi Gonzalez in (38th minute) and Antonio Kanu (67th minute). Valencia dismantled St Gallen 5-1, Gallen finally put one in the back of the net in the 74th minute. Federico Cartabia scored two goals, and Valencia also got a goal from Paco Alcacer, Ricardo Costa, and Sergio Canales Madrazo.
Swansea City looked like they had a 1-0 win over Kuban Krasnodar, with a goal from Michu, under wraps. Kuban tied in extra time with a goal from the spot from Djibril Cisse, the former Liverpool player.
