The Atlanta Falcons’ Week 7 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was the first wide receiver Roddy White has ever missed in his 8-year NFL career. A bum ankle and hamstring injuries knocked the Falcons great out of the lineup, and it appears as though it will do the same again this week:

White started the year injured, but played through his woes mostly as a decoy while notching 14 receptions for 129 yards in five games. In his absence, Harry Douglas figures to once again be Mat Ryan’s No. 1 option this week.
Without White, Douglas had the best game of his five-year career Sunday with seven catches for 149 yards and a touchdown. Tight end Tony Gonzalez figures to have solid performance this week as well if Atlanta hopes to get the win.
