Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller has been battling an ankle injury, and didn’t practice on Friday. While present at practice, he didn’t participate in positional drills and has his helmet off, according to WGR550’s Joe Buscaglia.

Spiller has been playing through the ankle injury and even carried the ball 10 times for 55 yards against the Bills. This past Sunday though, he carried the ball just six times for 11 yards.

It looks like you can expect him to not play Sunday. Some have speculated that Spiller and head coach Doug Marrone are feuding over the handling of his injury, but Spiller denies those rumors.

“I have no problem with Coach Marrone,” Spiller told Mike Rodak of ESPN.com. “I think we have a great relationship. Concerning my injury, I think we’re both on the same page. He wants what’s best for me, and he also wants what’s best for this team. He’s going to make the right decision. And I’m going to back him. So there’s definitely no feud, no miscommunication.”
