New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles game preview, odds and predictions
By Mike Dyce
The Philadelphia Eagles are coming into this game against the Dallas Cowboys with questions surrounding their quarterback situation. They had Nick Foles, but he suffered a concussion in last week’s game and it looks like Michael Vick will be returning to the line up if he is healthy.
“I’ve pretty much set my mind to play the way I want to play,” Vick said. “I’m giving it everything I got. No holding back. I don’t want to play that way.”
Matt Barkley threw three interceptions in three drives filling in for Foles when he left with a concussion. That poor showing drew some boos from the crowds.
“I don’t think we talk about it,” Eagles coach Chip Kelly said. “Obviously, we want to give our fans what they deserve and we’ve had an unbelievable home crowd in the games that we’ve been home this year. I just got in this year.”
These two teams are familiar with each other as divisional foes, but they played recently. Three weeks ago the Eagles beat the Giants at MetLife Stadium.
“Even though it’s been a three-week span between the two teams playing, I think there’s some personnel changes that are going to be different for us, going to be the first time we’ve seen them,” Kelly said.
Date: October 27

Both these teams are abysmal against the spread. The Eagles are 3-4 against the spread, while the Giants are 2-5 against the spread. If there is one trend, it is that the Eagles are 0-3 against the spread at home while the Giants are 1-3 against the spread on the road, but you can extend that to 1-7 against the spread on the road.
Prediction:
NEW YORK: 20
PHILADELPHIA: 24
