Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson had the second best season by a running back in NFL history last year. He finished the season with 2,097 yards and an NFL MVP trophy to his name. Peterson wanted to do something to show appreciation to his offensive lineman who played a crucial role in the best season of his career.
So what do you give lineman in Minnesota? Snowmobiles of course. Peterson bought Arctic Cat snowmobiles for each of the line man. He had the shields customized for each of them. It says Adrian Peterson, 2012 NFL MVP at the top. Below that is the Vikings logo and below that is the lineman’s name and position.
It is a nice gesture, and a fun gesture for Peterson to do. It certainly wasn’t necessary or required, but it was thoughtful.
