Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe will start today against the Cleveland Browns. Bowe had suffered a mid-week groin injury, fortunately it wasn’t serious enough to keep him out of this game. Bowe will square off against one of the league’s best cornerbacks in Joe Haden. That should make fantasy owners hesitant to start him this Sunday.
Bowe has caught 25 passes for 295 yards and been less than stellar this season. He is averaging just 42.1 yards receiving per game. His 11.8 yards per catch this year would be a career low if it was his final season number. His projected numbers for this season are 57 catches for 674 yards, numbers similar to his injury shortened 2009 season.
The offense has relied heavily on Jamaal Charles who has the third most carries in the league. That has impacted the passing offense of the Chiefs some, as well as the fact that they’re usually playing ahead.

From #NFLGameDay: #Chiefs expect WR Dwayne Bowe to play today with that groin injury. Will work out pre game, but should be ready to roll.
