Arizona Cardinals running back Rashard Mendenhall was ruled out for Sunday’s contest vs the Atlanta Falcons, and that led to a big opportunity for rookie RB Andre Ellington. He took the opportunity and ran with it, figuratively and literally on the Falcons as he ran for 154 yards on 15 carries and helped open the Cardinals’ offense in a 27-13 win over the Falcons. It was the fourth-best outing for a Cardinals rookie and was highlighted by an 80-yard TD-run.

This is now three games this season with double digits in Fantasy points for Ellington, but it was his first game with double digits in carries. It won’t be his last this year though.
