After the New York Jets were blown out by the Cincinnati Bengals, returned Josh Cribbs made some comments taking shots at his former team. At least, that is what we were led to believe.
āWeāre not the Browns,āĀ Cribbs told Newsday on Sunday. āWeāre not the team that gives up. We have fight in this team. Theyāre a motivated bunch of young guys. Iām just happy to be here and be able to contribute ⦠Love it here.
āWe lost. Itās going to be a lesson for us and weāre going to play harder,ā said Cribbs. āItās good that (loss) comes now because weāre still in the mix of this. Weāre halfway through the season.ā
Cribbs jumped on Twitter to defend him self saying he was misquoted.
"Wow Browns fans why all the hate? Years of loyalty & one miss quote in an article an u now wish the worst 4me? I thought by now u can read thru the chopped up quite a miss conceptionsā¦smh but I know it hard to cypher thru I love yāall like a sibling we can fight as long as we always make up! Be blessedā¦."
And in another tweet:
"Yea spell check got me but Iām sure u guys understand what was said, if u want to hate me, curse me, itās fine, anger is a beast some time, but go ahead & let it out if it makes it better, again be blessed regardlessā¦."
