NFL power rankings Week 8: Chiefs solidify top spot
By Josh Sanchez
As we enter the midway point of the 2013-14 regular season, it’s time for the updated NFL power rankings.
With the Kansas City Chiefs sitting at 8-0 and as the lone unbeaten, they once again occupy the top spot. The Denver Broncos sit at number two after rebounding last week, while the Indianapolis Colts hold firm at No. 3. The Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints round out the top five.
As for the teams heading in the wrong direction, the Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns continue to slide, while the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still holding down the last two spots.
