WIDE RECEIVER
1. Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions
This shouldn’t come as any surprise following his 329 yard performance against the Cowboys. On the season he has 821 yards receiving, despite missing a game and playing in a limited role in another. He also has 7 touchdown receptions. He’s been on fire lately too. Before that win over the Cowboys, Johnson had some impressive catches in traffic.
2. Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys
Bryant is coming into his own as a receiver and living up to the expectations the Cowboys had when they traded up in the draft to get him. He has 641 yards receiving and 8 touchdowns through as many games. He has proven to be a dynamic play-maker that can change the game at any moment.
3. Jordy Nelson, Green Bay Packers
Nelson has been reliable for the Packers at wide receiver. Nelson has caught 39 passes for 649 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, helping the Packers climb to the top of the NFC North.
4. DeSean Jackson, Philadelphia Eagles
Jackson has been his usual self so far this season. He has weathered the back and forth at the quarterback position well and caught 45 passes for 673 yards and five touchdowns.
5. Victor Cruz, New York Giants
The Giants have been struggling this season, and with Hakeem Nicks underperforming, Cruz has really stepped up. He has caught 47 passes for 677 yards, a mark that is 4th highest in the entire league. he has also caught four touchdown passes.
