Nick Foles is supposed to be the guy who takes over this team for good as soon as Michael Vick leaves the organization. Right now it looks like Vick could be on his way out with the injuries he’s had this season, but it’s too early to tell right now.

Foles stepped in for the Eagles against the New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and led the Eagles to two victories against those teams. He passed for 197 passing yards and two touchdowns against the Giants with a 114.9 passer rating then chewed up the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for 296 passing yards and three touchdowns.

Now Foles suffered a concussion not too long ago and was just recently cleared to return to practice. He’ll be the starting quarterback for the Eagles against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.

DeSean Jackson was limited today after he tweaked his ankle against the New York Giants. So far this season Jackson has recorded 45 receptions for 673 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

Foles and Jackson will have a tough match up against the Oakland Raiders who have been playing some good football this season.
