The Dallas Cowboys got some good news earlier today when it was announced that running back DeMarco Murray will be back in the starting line up. While they were hopeful that defensive end DeMarcus Ware, who was listed as doubtful, would be ready to go. ESPNās Ed Werder is reporting that he hasnāt seen Ware yet today, and he was supposed to go through morning warm-ups.
Ware has been fighting a quad injury but said earlier this week that he felt better.
āItās like night and day,ā Ware said, via ESPN. āLast week it was probably like 50 percent, and itās totally different now. I did some drills today and I went through a lot of the bags and everything. Just getting everything strengthened to get back on the field.ā
āThe way that everything is going, itās progressing really well,ā Ware said on Thursday. āI did a lot of the drills today. Iām starting to feel really good, and now Iām trying to get ready for this week. If not this week, try to get ready for next week. This is a day-to-day thing.ā
His absence doesnāt necessarily mean he isnāt starting, so there will be more news coming to indicate what is happening. Stay tuned.
