It looked like the Houston Texans were going to run away with the game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football.
Up 24-6 with 4:31 left in the third quarter, Houston was rolling. Newly anointed starter, quarterback Case Keenum, has three touchdown passes to Andre Johnson at clips of 62, 41 and 5 yards.
Well, now Indianapolis has a tandem of their own with 3 scoring connections.
On T.Y Hilton’s first TD catch of the night – which got the Colts comeback going – he reeled in a 10-yard grab and lost his shoe in the process.
Check it out below:
Hilton then caught another touchdown pass from Andrew Luck of 58 yards at the 9:54 mark of the 4th quarter to bring the Colts within five points. About 5 minutes later, Hilton and Luck connected once again, this time for a 9 yard completion to pay dirt to put the Colts up 27-24.
Hilton has reeled in 7 catches for 121 yards and the three scores. Andrew Luck has completed 18-of-40 passes — after an extremely slow start – for 271 yards and the three Hilton connections.
Case Keenum has completed 18-of-30 passes for 320 yards and the 3 TDs to Johnson. Neither QB has thrown an interception.
