The Dallas Cowboys offense is getting running back DeMarco Murray back in the starting line up, and they might need him. According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier has told his defense to be on alert for Dez Bryant early in the game.

Bryant had been under public scrutiny immediately following the Cowboys loss to the Detroit Lions last Sunday for his side line tantrums. Bryant claimed his tanturms were “all positive,” and his teammates and coaches defended and supported him. NFL Films even released sideline footage of his interaction with quarterback Tony Romo and they validated that he wasn’t complaining about receptions or being a ‘diva’ wide receiver.

At the time Bryant had two catches for 22 yards, he finished the day with three receptions for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns. Former quarterback Troy Aikman said that Bryant could get more passes if he was a better route runner, something that is vital to beating double coverage that Bryant routinely faces.

Frazier clearly thinks Bryant will be coming into this game with extra motivation and the Cowboys could feed him the ball. Unfortunately for the Vikings, their pass defense is ranked 29th in the NFL.
