It looks like the quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers got some good news tonight when it comes to their receiving core.
Wide receiver James Jones is active for tonight’s game against the rival Chicago Bears. Jones, who was listed as questionable this week, returns to the lineup after missing the last two weeks with a knee injury.
Considering the Packers will already be without wide receiver Randall Cobb (IR designated for return) and tight end Jermichael Finley (inactive with a neck injury), missing Jones again could have really hurt.
Other Packers inactives also include linebackers Clay Matthews and Nick Perry, defensive ends Josh Boyd and C.J. Wilson, cornerback James Nixon, wide receiver Chris Harper
While the Packers are missing quite a few starters, the Chicago Bears have their fair share of contributors that will be missing the game.
The Bears inactives are quarterback Jay Cutler, linebacker Lance Briggs, wide receiver Joe Anderson, guard James Brown, offensive tackle Jonathan Scott, defensive end Cornelius Washington and defensive tackle Zach Minter.
