Nick Foles shocked the NFL and fantasy football world with a breakout historic performance this week and is definitely the top arm to grab if youāre in the market for a QB either for a week or for the rest of the season. There are some other options that could pay off, though, even if your waiver priority isnāt good enough to get Foles. Here is a quick look at my top 5 options who are available in over half of ESPN leagues:
1. Nick Foles-Philadelphia Eagles (10.4%)
Foles has been excellent in two starts, mediocre in his first game, and horrible in his other start. Last week, though, he definitely showed his ceiling is high as he threw for a remarkable 406 yards and seven touchdowns against the Raiders on the road in Oakland. Oddly, his better starts have been on the road, so maybe itās a good thing he and the Eagles head to Green Bay to take on the pack. Foles should have another solid outing this week so add him if you can.
2. Terrelle Pryor-Oakland Raiders (39.5%)

If you lose the Foles sweepstakes, check out Terrelle Pryor who can help you with rushing yards as well as passing yards although he has just one passing TD total in his last three starts. Heās rushed for 200 yards in his last two games, though, and has a high floor because of his contributions in the running game. He takes on the Giants this week in a favorable matchup, but make sure to monitor a knee injury that has him day-to-day.
3. Case Keenum-Houston Texans(1.8%)
Although the Texans lost a tough game to Indianapolis Sunday Night, they may have found their QB as Keenum threw for 350 yards and three scores and looked like a solid NFL QB doing it. He takes on the Cardinals this week who have been up-and-down against fantasy QBās so far this season.
4. Jason Campbell-Cleveland Browns (4.2%)
On our list for the second week in a row, Jason Campbell guided Cleveland to a win over the hated Ravens while throwing for three touchdowns and 262 yards. This week the Browns are on a bye, but if you can afford to take a longer look with a QB pickup Campbell is one to consider since heās played very well in his two starts.
5. E. J. Manuel-Buffalo Bills (0.8%)

Manuel hasnāt been named the starter just yet this week for the Bills, but he returned to practice and should be back on the field soon. He looked impressive Ā before his injury and could return just in time to face the Steelers reeling secondary that was demolished by New England last week.
This list of QBās is part of my weekly waiver wire focus. If you need further help constructing your team, check out my top ten waiver wire picks of the week as well as my top waiver targets at each of the following positions: Ā RB, WR, TE, D/ST.
