Line (Via Bovada): Baylor by 16
Prediction: As you can see by the betting line, Baylor is the popular choice at home. Therefore I’m about to make an unpopular choice.
The Oklahoma Sooners stoned a top 10 Texas Tech team a couple weeks ago and is primed for this match up. Blake Bell and the Sooners will be the very first offense that Baylor has seen that can keep up with them and in fact is one of the better complete offenses I can remember in Norman, but it’s not about that side for the Sooners.
The OU defense will be everywhere in this game, giving Bryce Petty looks that he hasn’t seen to this point in the season. Lache Seastrunk should have a 100 yard day if the Bears commit to him for 20 plus carries, but it won’t be the explosive runs that we’ve become accustomed to.
No doubt Baylor’s looked fantastic to this point in the season, but go back to the schedule and they struggled with Kansas State, the only other team worthy of even stepping on the same field. Everybody is still trippin’ on the Red River Rivalry, but I think all that is forgotten after a showcase win by Bob Stoops’ boys tonight in Waco.
Oklahoma 45, Baylor 38
