It is very rare that an offensive player gets called for face-masking. If it does happen, it’s likely on a turnover when they’re forced to play defense. Well San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick got flagged for face-masking on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.
I don’t know why he held him. It looked like Kaepernick was keeping him in the play by holding onto his face-mask. If he had let go it looked like he could’ve pulled away at one point.
