The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly not interested in safety Ed Reed, who was released by the Houston Texans on Tuesday. The Baltimore Ravens quickly stated they weren’t interested. The Cowboys have been looking for depth on defense every week this season it seems like as injuries ravage this defensive unit.
The Cowboys had Jeff Heath at safety, but he got burned three times for touchdowns. The Cowboys brought in safety Michael Huff for a workout on Tuesday. It seems that Reed would be an obvious target for the Cowboys as they look for help at the position. There are reports that the Cowboys aren’t interested in signing Reed though.
It goes against the usual Jerry Jones behavior, but it could be a wise decision. Reed hasn’t played well and is near the bottom on a list of safeties according to Pro Football Focus.
I was told Cowboys have no interest in Ed Reed.

Reports indicate that the Cowboys weren’t impressed with Michael Huff in his work out.
#cowboys gave tryouts to 10 guys today incl ex Texas S Michael Huff. It seems he was less than dazzling. @1053thefan
