The Miami Heat will be without guard Ray Allen and forward Udonis Haslem when they take on the Milwaukee Bucks Wednesday night.

According to Michael Wallace of ESPN.com, Allen has been ill, suffering from flu-like symptoms that forced him to miss Monday’s practice and will keep him out of the game.

Haslem will be sitting out his second straight game due to back spasms. Haslem, usually a member of the Heat’s starting lineups, will be replaced by veteran Shane Battier at power forward.

As Wallace points out, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra has had to deal with players going in and out of the lineup because he has older veterans like Allen, Haslem, Battier and guard Dwyane Wade, who will rest at different points in the season, likely on the second night of back-to-back games.

The Heat and Bucks will tip off at 7:30 pm EST Wednesday night.
