Riding the emotions of having their head coach, Gary Kubiak, back on the sidelines after collapsing during halftime of Sunday Night Football two weeks ago, the Houston Texans will look to rebound and end their seven-game losing streak when they welcome in the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
Itās hasnāt been nearly the 2013 that the Texans had expected, and it got a bit worse this week when the team cut All-Pro safety Ed Reed after he called out the Houston coaching staff for the performances the past few weeks.
On a bright note, though, new QB Case Keenum keeps getting more and more on the same page with the wide receivers, in particular star Andre Johnson. With two straight 27-24 losses, this team is dangerously close to breaking through and getting into the win column once again.
The Raiders come in at 3-6 and have lost two straight, including last week to the also struggling New York Giants on the road. In that loss, Terrelle Pryor struggled again throwing the ball, which is something that an eye may need to be kept on.

Prediction:Ā The Texans desperately need a win here, and they just might get it. As I said, the chemistry developing between Keenum and the rest of the offense definitely shows, and it should break through against a very porous Oakland defense.
