Greg Smith of the Houston Rockets suffered an injury to his leg against the New York Knicks at the end of the first quarter. Smith jumped to contest a shot from Carmelo Anthony and landed awkwardly as he came down. It looked like his toe hit the court preventing his foot to come forward.
Because his toe’s contact with the floor, prevented it from bringing it forward, he lands awkwardly with his leg twisted behind him. He is getting x-rays on his right knee right now.
Greg Smith took a shot to the face contesting a Carmelo drive. Stayed down through two possessions. Keith Jones, McHale checking him out.
