Bucks vs Pacers: Game Highlights and Recap (GIF)
By Mike Dyce
The Milwaukee Bucks took on the Indiana Pacers and it didn’t go well. The Bucks were blown out on the road by nearly 30 points. The Pacers improved to 9-0 extending their undefeated start to the season. The Pacers are the first team to open a season 9-0 since the Dallas Mavericks did it in 2002-2003.
Indiana’s Roy Hibbert had 24 points and 10 rebounds for the double-double. He almost got a triple-double, he had an incredible 8 blocks and one assist. Paul George played well also, he added 22 points in 30 minutes. George could’ve been better from three point range where we was 2 of 8 shooting, but accuracy wasn’t necessary.
George achieved his own special feat in the game. George is just the third player to score 20 points in each of his first nine games for an undefeated team. The other two to do it were Wilt Chamberlain and Dave Bing.
O.J. Mayo did his best to carry the load for the bucks. He had 20 points and was 3-5 from downtown. The Bucks did have four injured players sitting out. Khris Middleton and Gary Neal added 11 points each but it wasn’t enough.
