The Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting the Detroit Lions on Sunday and earlier this week wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders vowed not to be bullied by the Steelers defense.
āWeāre definitely not going to get bullied,ā wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders said Thursday, via Alan Robinson of theĀ Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. āThatās not going to happen around here. Nobody is going to bully no one around here.
āAs far as matching their intensity, weāre definitely going to match their intensity.Ā No one is going to walk over us.ā
He singled out defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.
āYou know about Ndamukong Suh. Heās paid the NFL offices a lot of money,ā Sanders said. āItās evident. Everyone knows whoās the dirtiest player in the league right now. He takes pride in that. He takes pride in being one of the dirtiest players because, on defense, youāve got to have to have that mentality. But weāre not going to get bullied.ā
Looks like the Steelers are backing it up. Theyāre leading early with a touchdown to Antonio Brown.
