The Kansas City Chiefs are trying to keep their undefeated start to the season alive with a win over the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs were driving down field when they dialed up a counter play that was executed perfectly.
Quarterback Alex Smith turns to his right and running back Jamaal Charles heads that direction as well. He then cuts it sharply back to a big hole on the left side. A Broncos linebacker is crashing the hole to make a play, but fullback Anthony Sherman picks him up and springs Charles free.
Charles takes off and runs for 35 yards down the side line and was ruled out-of-bounds at the Denver 32-yard line. That set up a field goal for the Chiefs.
