Oakland Raiders offensive tackle Jared Veldheer suffered a partially torn triceps back in August, which delivered a major blow to the depth of the team’s offensive line entering the 2013-14 regular season. The Raiders needed to find a way to make up for his loss, but there is no doubt that the unit would be better off than it has been when their top offensive lineman returns.
While the team is anxiously awaiting Veldheer’s return, they may not have to wait much longer because he is expected to return to the team in Week 13, when they face off against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.
From Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times:
Coach Dennis Allen said he expects left offensive tackle Jared Veldheer to make his 2013 debut against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving.

Whenever Veldheer returns to the line up, the team’s quarterback will be in a much better position.
Whether that quarterback will be Terrelle Pryor or undrafted free agent Matt McGloin remains to be seen.
