New York Jets wide receiver Jeremy Kerley suffered a gruesome elbow injury back in Week 9, and there was hope from some that he would be able to suit up this Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, but now it has been confirmed that Kerley will not be making his return in Week 12.

On Saturday afternoon, the Jets announced that Kerley has been ruled out for the game.

From Brian Costello of the New York Post:

Most of the media never expected Kerley to play, but the hope from ESPN New York left some hope.

While Kerley is officially out for Week 12, his status for next week also remains in question.

When Kerley is able to finally return, he will provide a nice boost to the team’s passing attack. It’s going to be interesting to see when he is able to return to the field.
