Stop me if you’ve heard this one before — the New England Patriots fumbled the ball on Sunday Night Football against the Denver Broncos. The first half of the Broncos vs. Patriots match up has been an absolute disaster for New England, with the ball continuously coming loose and hitting the turf.
The good news for the Patriots, if there is good news after fumbling four times, is that the latest fumble by wide receiver/punt returner Julian Edelman was recovered and they did not turn over the ball.
The bad news is that New England failed to convert a fourth down and they are trailing the Broncos 17-0.
