It was a rough day for the Kansas City Chiefs. While the team suffered their second straight loss of the season thanks to the division rival San Diego Chargers, the team also lost two of their top defenders. During the game, outside linebackers Tamba Hali and Justin Houston were forced to leave with injuries and were unable to return.

Both players are now set for Monday morning MRIs, where they hope to get good news in advance of their second meeting with the Denver Broncos.

Hali is dealing with an ankle injury, while Houston is dealing with an elbow injury.

The team is hoping that both players will be able to suit up next weekend as they look to make up for their first loss to the Broncos, because it will be much tougher to get the win without having their top two pass rushers.

Kansas City was unable to get pressure on Manning in the first meeting and it is even more unlikely that they will find that pressure if Hali and Houston are foced to remain on the sidelines.
