New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford had an impressive performance in Week 12 during his team’s loss to the NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys, which included to booming punts of more than 65-yards. While his individual performance was worth celebrating, Weatherford got some bad news when he got to the Giants facility on Tuesday.
Weatherford shared a photo on his Twitter account that shows a memo from the league, which directed him to go and take a random drug test.
However, Weatherford seems a bit skeptical that the drug test summoning was in fact “random.”

Weatherford does have a right to be skeptical, but he should take the drug test as a compliment — after all, Adrian Peterson takes people speculating that he uses PEDs as a sign of respect.
While Weatherford may think the testing is a result of his 65-yard punts, perhaps it was just the league office catching wind of the ridiculous abs he showed off during the offseason:
