The Pittsburgh Steelers are taking on the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night in the prime time Thanksgiving Day game. Midway through the first quarter, the Steelers found themselves down by a touchdown already. On a play it looks like Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders runs a go route along the side line.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger throws a ball up in the air and Sanders has to dive to try to make the reception. The ball actually hits him in the hands right in front of his chest as he is diving, He isn’t able to hold on to the ball and can’t complete the catch.
As he comes flying to the turf his head bounces off the turf and he lays there motionless for a while. He then rolls around on the ground for a bit before leaving the game.
At first it looked like he could have suffered a mild concussion. Sanders has already returned to the game though.
