Panthers’ Charles Johnson to miss second straight game
By Corey Leahy
Carolina Panthers DE Charles Johnson will miss he second straight game on Sunday due to a right knee sprain, however, he should be back in action next Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
From NBC Sports,
"Johnson suffered an MCL sprain on Monday night, when he was on the wrong end of a Marcus Cannon leg whip. It’ll be interesting to know — and we likely will later today — whether Cannon gets fined for the infraction, for which there was no flag."
The Panthers are riding a seven game winning streak, and are in the running for the first wild card spot, as well as the NFC South crown if they can dethrone the New Orleans Saints, who they will play next Sunday.
Do you think the Panthers will be able to win another game without Johnson, or will the Buccaneers end Carolina’s win streak with a win? How do you think the Panthers will finish the season as we approach the last quarter of regular season game? Sound off below.
