The list of early inactives for Week 13 has been released and there are plenty of big name running backs that will not be suiting up. The New England Patriots have ruled Stevan Ridley a healthy scratch, while a knee injury will keep Andre Ellington out of action for the Arizona Cardinals. Added to the list of inactives at running back is Carolina Panthers starter DeAngelo Williams.

Williams was doubtful to play with a quad injury, but there was still some hope that he would be able to suit up.

Unfortunately, the team decided that his injury was too severe and he will not be able to go this week when the team takes on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With Williams out, the team will turn to Jonathan Stewart as the starter with Mike Tolbert getting his share of the carries. While Tolbert will get his usual touches, expect Stewart to handle a bulk of the carries for Carolina on Sunday afternoon.
