The Jacksonville Jaguars are in contention for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, but there is still one month remaining in the regular season. Despite the time for the team to slide down the draft order by racking up a few wins, the team is already preparing for the draft.
The team’s scouts are meeting at team headquarters and will begin scouting players and getting their draft board set.
From Alex Marvez of FOX Sports:

Considering there is a real chance that the Jaguars will be drafting in the top three com next year, it is a smart move to prepare checking out all of the top draft eligible talent.
By beginning their draft preparation now, they will be able to get ahead of the game and determine what players they will want to spend extra attention paying attention to. You would have to believe that Louisville’s Teddy Bridgewater will be one of those players that demands the most attention from the Jaguars scouting department.
