Record-wise, the Thursday Night Football match up tonight between the 2-10 Houston Texans and the 3-9 Jacksonville Jaguars may not be the most appealing to everyone at this point in the season, but it’s a battle between two teams looking for some respect, which can sometimes make for some good football.
Tonight, the Jaguars jumped out to an early 14-0 first half lead over the struggling Texans, who are by far the more disappointing of the two teams on the field tonight.
So, the pressure was put on second-year QB Case Keenum to get his team out of the hole, and he got off to a good start with that with this play.
Backed up near his own end zone with his team down by that 14-0 score. Keenum dropped back and showed off the gun by hitting a perfect strike to Garrett Graham down the middle for the big gain:

Those are the throws that they’re looking for out of Keenum, and they’re the ones that are going to keep his team from falling to 2-11 on this already abysmal season.
