LaRon Landry rips off Giovani Bernard’s helmet (GIF)

The Indianapolis Colts are taking on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Their game hasn’t been quiet affected by the weather as other games in the region to the east in particular.

On a play when Bengals running back Giovani Bernard was running along the side line when he was bracing for a tackle from Colts safety LaRon Landry. Bernard lowered his shoulder and went to hit Landry back.

Landry grabs Bernard, his left hand looks like it slides up his back to the helmet. Landry’s other hand looks like it was always on Bernard’s face mask. he than tackles him to the ground by the helmet, ripping it off in the process.

I’m pretty sure that isn’t legal, and you’d think the NFL would be looking at this one during the week to determine whether to fine Landry or not.
