NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Silver are reporting that that the Tennessee Titans are headed for a bit of an exciting offseason. First, head coach Mike Munchak is coaching for his job because of “philosophical differences between coaches and brass.” Basically that the team is built for the run but they’re playing as a passing tame.

The Titans are expected to part ways with running back Chris Johnson who is in the middle of a six-year deal.

The Titans are also aren’t expected to pick up Jake Locker’s $13 million club option in 2015. Rapoport says the news is relevant now because the Titans must make it final this May (2014), not next May (2015). Locker has been unable to stay healthy and while he’ll make $2.09 million in 2014, that number jumps to $13 million in 2015.

Rapoport also reports that the Titans are expected to be active in pursuing Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler in free agency this spring.
