The NFL is nearing the end of it’s regular season which means a story that dominated the headlines this summer is being buried under all of the madness. But despite the fact that the Redskins are benching their franchise quarterback and the Seahawks are boasting one of the best defenses ever, Aaron Hernandez is still sitting in a jail cell in Massachusetts and he’s still trying to avoid being convicted of murder.

Hernandez may not be on the field to help the Patriots, or any other team for that matter, but he’s certainly not bored in jail. TMZ obtained and posted a photo of a jailhouse letter that Hernandez sent to a friend which shows us that Hernandez has taken up the hobby of drawing naked ladies while in jail.

The letter was apparently sent off before Thanksgiving but it shows that Hernandez still isn’t really sweating the murder charges he’s sitting in jail for. While it’s a humorous photo, it’s pretty badly marred by the fact that the guy who drew it and added a dopey smiley face for effect, is on trial for allegedly being a cold-blooded killer.

So after we chuckle about the picture of a naked lady, because secretly we’re all 12 year old Beavis and Buttheads, let’s not forget the context of the letter and the fact that no number of shapely cartoon ladies can change the circumstances in which this specific one was drawn.
