The New Orleans Saints are coming huge victory over the Carolina Panthers which put them in first place in the division.
Today they’re looking to add to their division lead but are off to a rough start in St. Louis against a team who is determined to play spoiler. This St. Louis Rams defense has been strong over the last couple of years and have played pretty well in 2013. They’re already out of the playoff race but look pretty solid early on.
Now Brees and the 10-3 Saints have turned the ball over twice already. Brees threw an interception on their first play of their first possession of the game to T.J. McDonald while trying to get the ball to tight end Jimmy Graham.
After St. Louis put up the first points of the game, the Saints were looking to respond with some points of their own. Brees led the Saints 80 yards down field before he was picked off yet again, this time by Trumaine Johnson.
