Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone has announced that quarterback Thad Lewis will get the call when the Bills host the Miami Dolphins this week.  The move comes as a result of rookie first round pick E.J. Manuel dealing with a knee injury.  The Bills find themselves at 5-9 as they host the 8-6 Dolphins that are fighting for a playoff spot.

Lewis has played in three games this season, accumulating 652 yards on 103 pass attempts with 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.  When the Bills beat the Dolphins in Miami in October, the former Duke Blue Devil was at the helm of the Bills offense.

As good as the Dolphins have been, they traditionally struggle playing in Ralph Wilson Stadium.  They may have a talent advantage, but their inconsistent running game could really haunt them if there is a lot of wind or bad weather in this game.  The Bills have also played most of their opponents close.  The Dolphins need to win this game to keep their playoff hopes alive, but it will not be easy in spite of the difference in the standings.
