Milwaukee Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova is an upcoming rising star not only on his team but in the NBA. Last season he was averaging 13.2 points per game but this season hasn’t even come close to that.
This season, Ilyasova is only averaging 8.2 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. The reason for Ilyasova’s setback is a number of injuries that he has gone through including a nagging ankle sprain that has bothered him since the preseason.
According to Charlie Gardner of the Journal Sentinel, Ilyasova will be shut down and it seems like for a while.
Ersan Ilyasova is being shut down due to his ankle injury and Gary Neal in a walking boot and will not travel to Cleveland, Drew says.

It is a smart move by the Bucks to do this because lets face it, they aren’t winning no time soon or contending for a NBA title. The Milwaukee Bucks are currently 5-20 which is the worst record in the NBA. With that being said do not rush Ilyasova back no time soon, rest him up and hope for a good draft pick in the loaded 2014 NBA Draft.
