Detroit Lions’ sack Eli Manning in the endzone (GIF)

As we all know, the New York Giants struggled the entire year. Their running game hasn’t been that big of a factor, their defense has taken a couple blows and their offensive line lost a couple key linemen for the season.
Manning has had himself a frustrating year with those 25 interceptions he has thrown this year. On top of that, with those key guys being sidelined for the year, he’s spent a lot of time on his back this year as he’s been sacked 36 times this year.
It’s not the most, but it’s a number that needs to be cut down in half going into the 2014 season. You can’t expect Eli to stay healthy when he’s constantly getting hit by defensive players who are trying to stop him from making a play.
Now New York had a 13-3 lead but had that get cut down to three when Joique Bell scored from two yards out. Manning and the Giants later got the ball, but failed to put up any points of their own. Instead, Detroit put some points on the board by sacking Eli Manning in the endzone.
